Summary Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khosa said that CM Shahbaz Sharif has suffered from Zardari phobia.
The Chief Minister is unaware of the rule that federation or the president are not bound to arrange for general bodies elections; rather it is duty of the provincial governments to make arrangements in this regard, said Governor Latif Khosa.While speaking at an inauguration ceremony at Lahore Expo Centre Lahore, Governor Punjab said that Punjab government was bound to arrange for general bodies elections within of 365 days which have come to an end. Now the provincial government is using tactics to bring new bill in the assembly to avail 180 more days but as a Governor he would stand against it.Furthering his statement, he said that local bodies system implemented in Punjab at present is illegal and unconstitutional.Khosa claimed that rulers in Punjab are scared that general bodies elections would expose their popularity.
