Aid process to be made transparent: Qureshi

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that comprehensive steps will be taken to make the use of aid given by Friends of Pakistan transparent. Talking to media in New York, he said that world has admitted that Pakistan was playing an important role in war against terrorism and extremism. He said that mistakes should not be repeated keeping in view the experience of Afghanistan. Pakistan government and institutions can make use of aid well-organized and efficient, he added. Shah Mehmood Qureshi will participate in a meeting in this regard on September 27.
