Summary More than 10 people have been killed in gun attacks across the city in last 48 hours.
As per details, unidentified attackers gunned down former income tax commissioner Mumtaz Sheikh in Defence Phase IV.The incident occurred when Mumtaz Sheikh left his home for office. He was rushed to nearby hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.Mumtaz Sheikh was also a member of local government revenue.In a separate incident, a body with torture marks was found in Orangi Town. The identity of the victim is not unknown.
