No consensus could be reached about the Local Bodies system in Sindh.Pakistan People’s Party and MQM talks remained inconclusive.Governor Sindh Isratul Ebat said the decision would be taken in line with the wishes of the people.Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has said no out of the way compromises would be made.Meanwhile ANP, SNF, Muslim League Functional have expressed their reservations about the proposed ordianance.ANP leader Shahi Syed rejected the draft and Pir Pigaro said his party was not provided the complete draft the ordinance, hence he cannot support it.PPP leader and Sindh Law Minister Ayaz Somro said draft of ordinance will be approved after consultations with the allies.He hoped that PPP would be able to convince PML Functional and ANP soon.Earlier after a lengthy deliberation with the MQM on the local body system in Sindh, the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party on Wednesday held talks with other allied parties in the province – ANP, Pir Pagara’s PML-F and PML-Q – to address their reservations over new administrative issues.PPP leader Pir Mazhar Ul Haq presented a draft of the proposed local government system before lawmakers from the Awami National Party, Pakistan Muslim League-Functional and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam in a meeting held in Chief Minister House here today.The parley was attended by PML-F’s Imtiaz Sheikh, PML-Q’s Haleem Adil Sheikh and ANP’s Amir Nawaz Khan along with their respective delegations. The Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Syed Sardar Ahmed also joined the talks.The draft was earlier agreed upon by PPP and MQM bigwigs in overnight negotiations.
