Summary Local government ordinance likely to be issued during the next 24-48 hours.
It seemed an understanding had reached between Pakistan People’s Party and Muttahida Qaumi Movement during their marathon meetings that continued till late night Tuesday over the local government system in Sindh.However, no final decision over the local government ordinance 2012 has been taken as yet.The sessions were scheduled after MQM delegation had a meeting with president Zardari on Monday in Karachi.According to sources, MQM and PPP leaders are likely to hold few more sessions during the next 24-48 hours after which it is likely that local government system will be restored under the new ordinance in Sindh.
