Summary Ishaq Dar said this after a meeting between MQM delegation and PML-N leaders at Punjab House.
Ishaq Dar after the meeting said that the two parties shared common views regarding the national issues.Talking to media after the meeting, MQM leader Farooq Sattar said the PML-N had been invited to Nine Zero.He said the purpose of the meeting was the well being of Pakistan and parties should work on a national agenda based on a national consensus.PML-N leader Ishaq Dar said after meeting the MQM it felt like they were part of the opposition and their views were similar to that of his party on national issues.Dar added that PML-N President Nawaz Sharif had already spoken of a national charter which was a need for the country due to economic and security challenges.Dar further said that it was the belief of the PML-N that the solution to the country’s problems was elections being called as soon as possible.The MQM delegation was led by Farooq Sattar, Babar Ghauri and Tahir Mashdi while the PML-N was represented by Ishaq Dar and Pervez Rasheed.
