Deputy Parliamentary Leader of Pakistan People’s Party Shaukat Basra termed registration of a case against him as baseless and announced to tender arrest at IG office on September 5.Briefing media outside Punjab Assembly, Opposition Leader Raja Riaz Ahmed said that Punjab government has started victimisation of the opposition members because ‘Mughal kings of Raiwind’ were scared of being defeated in the upcoming elections.He said that map of Shaukat Basra’s house was approved since 1978 but it was declared illegal and a baseless case was registered against him.The opposition members said that they were being victimised on raising voice for South Punjab province.Meanwhile, Opposition submitted requisitions to call the assembly session and suspend the proceeding of last session because according to the opposition quorum was lacking whereas the proceeding continued.
