Malakand: 8 militants killed, 22 surrendered

At least 8 militants were killed during the operation Rah-e-Rast in Swat and Malakand while 26 suspects including a relative of Muslim Khan were arrested from different areas during last 24 hours. Twenty two militants surrendered themselves to security forces voluntarily. According to ISPR, forces killed at least 2 militants including commander Chamtu Khan in Bara Banda area while 21 militants including a relative of Muslim Khan were arrested. At least 19 militants surrendered themselves to security forces in Chaprial, Barshore and Gowalerai. Three militants were murdered in Jubmil area and 3 murdered in Charbagh and Dakuraak areas during the search operation. One alleged militant was captured from Takhtaband area while local lashkar captured 3 militants from Shahdari.
