Summary Punjab Governor Latif Khosa suggested formation of judicial commission for appointment of judges.
He said that judiciary is not authorised to reject the public mandate.While addressing officials at National School of Public Policy in Lahore, the governor Punjab said that judiciary should take decisions which are actual representative to the people.He emphasised that the game of hide and seek should come to an end. Politics is not mere function of scandalising the rivals; all politicians while setting aside their personal differences and mean and cheap tactics should give priority to national interests and democracy.He suggested that a judicial commission should be formed for appointment of judges on the pattern of Public Service Commission.He urged the officers to be loyal and committed to the state rather than politicians.
