Summary PA Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal says the commission formed for new provinces has become ineffective.
In this regard, the Speaker sent the resolution passed by Punjab Assembly to the Presidency, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and the National Assembly Speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza.Apart from this, the copies of the aforesaid resolution also have been dispatched to the commission members, governors and chief ministers of four provinces.While refuting allegations and rumours regarding the resolution, Rana Muhammad Iqbal also said that some elements are trying to create wrong impression that the quorum of the Punjab Assembly was not complete when it passed the anti-commission resolutions.Such things have nothing to do with reality; these are hollow, fake and fabricated stories which opportunist politicians are making for their vested interests, said Speaker Punjab Assembly.
