A suicide bomb blast in Kohat killed 33 and injured above 40 on Friday, reported Dunya News. The blast happened in Kacha Paka Bazaar where people were busy in Eid shopping. The body parts of the dead were found scattered after the blast. Sources disclosed children are also among the dead. The rescue activities have been started and the injured are being shifted to the hospital. Security officials have surrounded the area. NWFP Chief Minister Amir Haider Hoti has ordered the investigations into the incident. He said that such incidents couldnt weaken Pakhtuns and the action against militants would continue. The blast occurred on Hangu Road, some 20kilometers from Kohat. DPO Dilawar Khan told that 150kg explosive was used in the blast. On the other hand NWFP senior minister Bashir Balour talking to Dunya News maintained those who carried out blasts on Jummatul Wada in Ramadan had nothing to do with Islam.
