Gilani directs provinces to implement SC decision on sugar

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has directed provinces that decision of the Supreme Court regarding sugar prices should be implemented as soon as possible. Chief Ministers of Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan attended the meeting that was presided by the PM. Four provincial Chief Secretaries and Federal Ministers, Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo, Shaukat Tareen and Nazar Ahmad Gondal along with Provincial Food Ministers were also present in the meeting. Federal Minister for Industries and Production Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo and member National Assembly Khurram Jahangir Wattoo also held a meeting with PM Gilani. It was decided in the meeting to soon introduce the insurance scheme for crops.
