Two terrorist plans have been thwarted in Karachi. In Saeed Abad area of Baldia Town, Karachi, a suicide bombers jacket and heavy ammunition have been recovered near the police training centre, Dunya TV correspondent reported. In another incident, security guard of Kemari Oil Refinery was killed and driver injured by militants firing. After the incident, militants fled the scene throwing a hand grenade and a Klashnikov there. According to police, three veiled militants were trying to enter in the Kemari Oil Refinery, based in Shereen Jinnah Colony; militants opened fires at security guard Mir Ahmad and killed him at the spot when he tried to stop them and Khan Bahadar, driver of oil tanker, was severely injured. Patrolling police reached the spot immediately while militants fled the scene prior to the arrival of police after throwing a hand bag and arms there. Police searched the bag and recovered 10 hand grenades, 3 klashnikovs and 10 magzines. On the other hand, some unidentified persons attacked on Rangers by a cracker near A O Clinic of Nazim Abad area in Karachi in which three officials were injured.
