Summary Water and Power Minister Ahmed Mukhtar said government would resolve problems of provinces.
Federal Minister for Water and power Ahmed Mukhtar has said that equitable load shedding is being ensured in all the provinces while government would resolve the reservation of the provinces.The minister stated this while chairing a meeting of Committee on Equitable Distribution of Electricity which was held on Thursday.Ahmed Mukhtar in his opening remarks stated that the committee will finalize its recommendations keeping in view the suggestions of the provinces and report of the technical experts. He again reiterated the commitment of the government to end the energy crises on top priority basis.Later, the provincial representatives made their detailed presentations on their respective provincial energy requirements, power withdrawals, receivables and payables and update of dues cleared by them. They also submitted their suggestions for equitable distribution of electricity.The meeting decided that the suggestions will be taken up by the technical experts of Ministry and provinces in a meeting to be held after Eid-ul-Fitr.It was also decided that the committee constituted by CCI on equitable distribution of electricity will submit its recommendations to the CCI on 31st August, 2012.
