Summary Federal Defence Minister Syed Naveed Qamar has said the Kamra airbase attack is not security lapse.
Speaking to media persons, the minister said that attack on Pakistan Air Force (PAF) airbase was not a failure of the security institutions, adding that the vigilance of the PAF and its on time response foiled the terrorists’ attack.He furthermore asserted the threat of terrorists’ infiltration into the security bases always looms owing to proximity of urban populations, adding no terrorist was captured alive in the operation.
