Summary A 14-member commission has been formed for the creation of new provinces in the Punjab.
The National Assembly Speaker constituted the commission in pursuance of President Asif Ali Zardaris direction.The Commission comprises of Senators Farahatullah Babar‚ Syeda Sughra Imam‚ Haji Mohammad Adeel‚ Kamil Ali Agha‚ Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana‚ Molana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri and MNAs Mr. Arif Aziz Sheikh‚ Jamshaid Ahmad Dasti‚ Syed Ali Musa Gillani‚ Mrs. Tahmina Daultana‚ Ch. Saud Majeed and Dr. Muhammad Farooq Sattar.Two members of the Punjab Assembly would also be included in the commission.
