President Asif Ali Zardari arrived Jeddah on Monday to attend the fourth extraordinary Summit of Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), convened by King Abdullah in the holy city of Makkah to discuss the challenges facing the Muslim Ummah and to further strengthen unity and solidarity of Ummah.Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Foreign Minister Ms Hina Rabbani Khar, Interior Minister Rehman Malik and Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani are part of the President’s entourage.The President, upon arrival at the King Abdul Aziz International Airport Jeddah, was received by Governor Makkah Prince Khalid Al Faisal and Governor Jeddah Prince Mish’al bin Majid bin Abdulaziz.Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Muhammad Naeem Khan, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Ibrahim Abdul Aziz al-Ghadeer, Consul General Jeddah Abdul Salik Khan and senior Saudi and Pakistani officials were also present at the airport to receive the President.
