US deputy ambassador Jerrold Festaine on Saturday said that the US was considering extension of its Peshawar Consulate along with Islamabad embassy. Talking to official TV, he said that the US wanted to buy land in Islamabad for its embassy due to which extension would be held in compound of the embassy. Jerrold Festaine said that different options were under consideration for the extension of Peshawar consulate in Peshawar while extension work of Karachi consulate would complete in a year. He said that this extension plan was not related to issuing new visas. This relates to those people who will work here to have a check on aid being provided to Pakistan.
