Summary PML-Q member Punjab Assembly Iqbal Langrial stands disqualified due to fake degree.
A petitioner had challenged the degree of PML-Q member Iqbal Langrial in the Lahore High Court.Petitioner Mian Saif-ur-Rehman had informed the court that Iqbal Langrial took part in elections 2008 with a fake degree acquired from a Shikarpur madrassa.After verification from the Higher Education Commission the Justice Nasir Saeed Sheikh Lahore High Court declared the degree of PML-Q member fake, and cancelled his membership of Punjab Assembly.The court has ordered by-election for the vacated Punjab Assembly seat in Sahiwal.
