Summary Rehman Malik submitted a certificate as proof of his British citizenship abandonment in SC.
Malik mentioned in his rejoinder that he had relinquished the British citizenship in 2008 before he was elected senator.The federal minister prayed to Supreme Court to discharge the plea filed against him.Malik also said that he resigned from senate seat as opposition blamed that the new constitutional amendment was made to protect him.
