Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the US was not going to set up a mini Pentagon in Pakistan. He said that Indias intervention in Balochistan would be raised at diplomatic level. Talking to journalists at an Iftar dinner hosted in their honour at Foreign Office, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the US had demanded 18 acres land for embassy expansion in Islamabad but it did not mean the US was going to set up a mini Pentagon here. He said that China did not have any reservations regarding expansion of US embassy. Qureshi maintained that dialogues with India were suspended after Mumbai attacks but Pakistan was ready to resume talks at every place. He stressed the need of back channel diplomacy and said that his meeting with Indian foreign minister was expected in the US. Qureshi said that there was total harmony between the President and the PM as President Zardari had taken every decision in consultation with PM Gilani.
