Summary Chief election commissioner said that final lists of voters have been released for next elections.
Chief election commissioner of Pakistan Fakhruddin G Ibrahim was addressing a press conference in Quetta.He said that it was not possible to conduct transparent elections without the formation of correct voters lists, adding that the issuance of lists was the first step towards fair elections.He said there was still a room for improvement in the voters list and requested the political parties to highlight if they find any mistakes in the list.Chief election commissioner said political parties were contacted in this regard as well, adding thatthe lists could be reviewed again if anyone had any issue.
