Summary Eighteen fishermen released from Indian jail reached Karachi on Thursday.
All fishermen including five real brothers and a 10-year-old boy belong to different areas of Thatta District of Sindh.Abdul Sattar Edhi and Fisher Folk Forum representatives received the fishermen at Edhi Centre in Karachi.According to fishermen they were tortured in Indian jail. They demanded that the government should take steps for the early release of the remaining fishermen from Indian jails.On this occasion, Abdul Sattar Edhi distributed cheques of Rs 15000 each among the fishermen.
