Summary President Asif Zardari says that politics is competed by democratic way and that way is elections.
Addressing members’ parliament belonging to Sindh at CM House Karachi, he said that the PPP is a national and public party which has vision of prosperous Pakistan.He said that no political party has sacrificed more than the PPP, adding that his party has never broken the constitution.Commenting on constitutional amendments, he said that he got all the constitutional reforms approved in consultation with other democratic actors.He claimed that he is not exercising politics of drawing room; rather he is doing politics with the cooperation and coordination of masses that are real and virtual power.He directed the party leaders and district level party workers to enhance public-contact campaign; so that the common man may be urged to stand by the Pakistan People’s Party.Throwing light on current situation of the country, he retrieved that the motherland is confronted with challenges of terrorism and extremism; therefore all the political parties should unanimously to bring it out of these challenges.
