Summary CM Balochistan has said provincial govt not responsible to provide of security to NATO containers.
Presiding over a high-level meeting in Quetta, Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisani has stated that the situation in Balochistan is not as bad as being reported by the media.The home secretary told the meeting that the federal government did not inform the provincial government about the restoration of NATO supply, however in a letter it was clarified to the federal government that the resources were limited and security could not be provided to NATO supply. Speaking on the occasion, Raisani stated that provision of security to NATO containers was not the responsibility of the provincial government. The meeting also reviewed human smuggling through Balochistan.The chief minister also issued directions that strict action be taken against those involved in illegal human trafficking through Balochistan to Iran.
