Summary On Wednesday, Federal Cabinet decided to implement uniform load shedding schedule across country.
Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf directed the ministries of Water & Power and the Petroleum & Natural Resources to continue measures to add electricity in the national grid.He was chairing a meeting of energy committee in Islamabad on Thursday.The Prime Minister was informed that according to Gas Policy 2012‚ the supply of gas to domestic consumers is first priority followed by supply for generation of electricity.Prime Minister was informed that there was improvement in electricity supply and people have felt the difference throughout the country.The meeting was attended by Minister for Water and Power and advisor on Petroleum and secretaries of the relevant ministries.
