Summary Special Anti Terrorism Court in Peshawar has sought detail of cases against Maulana Sofi Muhammad.
Special Anti Terrorism Court conducted hearing of cases against banned outfit Nafaz e Shariat’s chief Maulana Sofi Muhammad, Maulana Khalid and Maulana Safiullah registered in 1994 and 1995 and ordered to submit report on next hearing.The court also consulted that either Punjab government had withdrawn these cases, adding that is there any rule and regulation according to which criminal cases may be reopened after they are withdrawn.The court also directed that ATA did not exist when cases were registered; may these laws be implemented on Sofi Muhammad and his aides.
