Summary Four people were killed while many others injured in different incidents of firing and violence.
Angry and irritated people protested on Shahrah Noor Jahan Road and blocked road by torching tyres.In the first incident, an ANP worker was gunned down with the firing of unidentified men at Desilva in the area of Nazim Abad. The incident occurred when the victim was travelling by a car that miscreants started indiscriminate firing on his car, killing him on the spot.Following the incident, a large number of people gathered at the Noor Jahan Road blocked the road by setting tyres on fire.During this, public dealing activities at Intermediate Board were also badly affected. Angry people also ignited violence near Abdullah Girls College and ultimately blocked Banaris Bridge for general traffic.In another incident occurred at Shafique Abad Mor, a man was killed while two others were injured in firing incident.A disfigured dead body of a youth tied with rope also has been recovered from Bhains Colony.Another ill-fated man was gunned down in firing incident at Shair Shah Paracha Chawk.Two people were reportedly hurt at New Karachi while another man was injured near Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
