Summary Deputy PM Pervaiz Elahi has ordered Smeda for preparation of 50,000 MW on priority basis.
While chairing the meeting of Small and Medium Development Authority in Lahore, Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that present government is trying its endeavours to resolve the energy crisis on war footings and every kind of resources are being utilized in this regard.He directed that Smeda and Engineering Development Board should submit report of small and medium size projects so that they may be implemented in order to cope with the energy crisis which has caused decay and decadence in agro-industrial sectors.
