Summary The KPK government has completed arrangement for deportation of foreign prisoners.
According to authorities, only those prisoners would be deported who have already served their sentence.Ministry of Interior, Ministry of foreign affair, and different embassies have given approval to the steps taken by the provincial government.After Bannu jail incident, KPK government had contacted Ministry of Foreign Affairs for deporting of alien prisoners who have served their sentence.In collaboration with Foreign Ministry embassies of African and other nations were contacted and a list of prisoners was provided to them on which the embassies have agreed to accept the prisoners.Provincial government has been informed in this regard and prisoners would be shifted in phases from central jail Peshawar, Hari Purr and Dera Ismail khan to Islamabad for deportation.
