Summary The LHC Thursday has rejected the writ petition against inquiry of Arsalan Iftikhar case by NAB.
The Lahore High Court consulted the petitioner that either he is an affected party. The petitioner replied in negative. At this, the Chief Justice rejected the petition while declaring it non-maintainable.On the other hand, Chief Justice Umer Ata Bandial conducted hearing of Rana Asif Saeed case regarding dual nationality. The counsel on the part of Rana Asif argued that his client has only Canadian passport not citizenship.On the other hand, petitioner’s counsel was of the view that that man who has Canadian passport also enjoys Canadian citizenship.The court put off hearing till July 10, with the direction to submit written reply in the court.
