Summary
The negotiations among Taliban Commander Mullah Nazir and supporters of Baitullah Mehsud have been failed despite the reconciliatory efforts made by the Al-Qaeda members and Afghan militants. Supporters of Mehsud had killed 18 companions of Mullah Nazir and Hafiz Gul Bahadur in North Waziristan following which the relations between the two groups went sour. Sources revealed that Al-Qaeda members and important Afghan militants had started efforts to strike a patch-up between the two groups however the negotiations failed yesterday. Mullah Nazir has demanded that eight companions of Mehsud be handed over to him or threatened to take action if the demand not fulfilled.
