Fourteen police officials were killed and eight have been injured in a suicide bomb attack on a police station in Mingora, Swat and curfew has been imposed for indefinite period of time. According to the officials, policemen were undergoing a training session in the main ground of police station when a suicide bomber entered the ground and blew himself up; where as twelve police officials were killed instantly. Just after the blast, crossfire between the extremists and police was also witnessed. Some suspicious people have also been taken under custody. Injured persons have been shifted to Saidu Sharif Hospital and District Hospital, where some are stated to be in critical condition. One of the police official told Dunya News that police completely surrounded the police station after the blast, in order to stop the ongoing attack. An unannounced curfew has been imposed in the area and police have initiated a search operation, following the incident. This was the fourth suicide attack upon this police station of Mingora. President, Prime Minister, Interior Minister, Governor and CM NWFP strongly condemned this suicide attack and stated that war against terror will continue in Swat.
