Summary Bailiff recovered 35 people including women and children detained at a brick kiln on Friday.
The petitioner namely Zulfiqar moved a writ petition in Lahore High Court that a brick kiln owner Malik Nasir has detained his family members including his brother Ghulam Qadir and others for three years in the area of Daska.On court order, the bailiff conducted raid at the aforesaid kiln and recovered seven women, 20 men and eight children while head of the family Ghulam Qadir and his 12-year-old son could not be freed.Later, all of the affected people were produced in the court which ordered to free all of them.The labourers told the court that the owner of the kiln not only used to have service from them but also tortured them without any reason.
