Summary SC has summoned the investigation report on recent development in hajj corruption case from DG FIA.
A three-member bench headed by chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the hajj corruption case.Former investigation officer Hussain Asghar didn’t even appear today despite court orders.Secretary establishment said that Hussain Asghar was informed about the court orders and the inquiry to be led against him if he doesn’t follow them, adding that apparently he violated court orders.He further told the bench that a summary regarding the action to be taken against Hussain Asghar was forwarded to prime minister on June 27.Chief justice remarked that absence of Hussain Asghar was affecting the case, adding that he is creating problems for himself by not complying with court orders.Meanwhile, the court sought the report over the development in the case from DG FIA.The case has been adjourned till July 3.
