Summary The World Bank has informed Pakistan that it would not be provided funds for of Bhasha Dam.
According to Dunya News, the bank would not provide funds for construction of Bhasha Dam for two years; however financial aid for completion of other projects would be continued.The world monitory institution has expressed its intention that it is also ready to assist in Tarbela-4 phase.According to facts and figures, the World Bank provides $ 1 billion yearly to Pakistan in this field. All the schedule of funds’ provision has been finalized which doesn’t include Bhasha Dam.
