Summary Qamar Zaman Qaira on Sunday said the government does not want confrontation among institutions.
Talking to media at Sukkur airport Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira said that Raja Pervaiz Ashraf was not only the PM of President Zardari or PPP but 211 MNAs have elected him.He said a political party was insulting peoples’ mandate by making negative propaganda.Qaira said Raja Pervaiz Ashraf made promises to end loadshedding as water and power minster because he was provided incorrect facts and figures by the bureaucracy.He said 2300 megawatts of electricity has been added to the national grid to reduce the loadshedding in the country.He said Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf has pledged to put the country on the course of rapid development.Qamar Zaman Kaira said PPP led government played an important role in giving provincial autonomy to the provinces.He said PPP has also rendered maximum sacrifices for the strengthening of democracy. “We have taken the oath to protect the Constitution and we respect the judiciary,” he said.
