Summary Somali pirates holding Pakistanis hostage at MV Albedo have demanded $1.1 million for their release.
The Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) chairman Ahmad Chinai has said that he will proceed to Dubai for talks with concerned persons for the release of Pakistan crew members.He said that the owner of the vessel, MV Albedo, is creating hurdle by not paying his share in the ransom money and demanding from Pakistan to pay money without any contact.The Somali pirates holding Pakistanis hostage at MV Albedo have demanded $1.1 million for their release. Pakistan is yet to decide on Somali pirates’ new offer.Ahmad Chinai said that he is contact with the Malaysian security council for the arrangements of release of Pakistani hostages.
