Summary Lahore High Court Chief Justice Justice Umar Ata Bandial has said 99 percent journalists are honest.
The Chief Justice heard a case regarding the allegations leveled by Real Estate Tycoon Malik Rian for giving bribe to media persons.The court said that the case is already under prosecution in the Supreme Court, so the court cannot interfere in the case. The court also observed that the whole media cannot be criticised due to a few persons corruption.A petition was filed by the Electronic Media Reporters Association (EMRA) in the Lahore High Court on Friday requesting the court for holding a judicial inquiry to expose the people involved in media scandal disclosed by Malik Riaz.
