Summary The Young Doctors Association (YDA) has closed OPDs across the Punjab.
The YDA has announced strike in outpatient departments of all healthcare facilities including tehsil and district headquarters hospitals, teaching hospitals and rural healthcare centres serving under the Punjab government from today until the announcement of revised service structure for them.The YDA said that the provincial government had failed to notify the service structure despite Rana Sanaullaha’s assurance to implement the revised service structure within a month.Due to the YDA’s strike, the patients are facing problems and they are either compelled to go home back without treatment or bear the expenses of private hospital.
