Supreme Court in its short-order in Dr Arsalan case said media kept the people of Pakistan hostage for three days by broadcasting stories without any proof.The Supreme Court declared that the anchor persons of Geo News Hamid Mir and Kamran Khan admitted in a written statement that they had no proofs and that Shaheen Sahbai’s interview was uploaded without establishing the authenticity of its contents.
