Summary The budget debate in Punjab Assembly continued on Friday while most of the MPAs remained absent.

The session of Punjab Assembly for budget debate also started with a delay of one hour and twenty minutes on Friday.While criticizing budget, MPA of PML-Q Majida Zaidi said that during the current fiscal year even 37% of the budget allocated for health sector was not utilized while death toll has been increasing in hospitals.Shafique Arain of PPP said that 11 billion have been allocated for power sector during next year while the funds allocated for the current year have not been used while the Punjab government has been making only false claims.Opposition MPA Zobia Rubab also criticized the budget.During the session, every member has been participating in the debate according to his or her party line but outside the assembly MPA of PPP Rifat Dart praised her party leadership by singing.Saghira Islam of PPP demanded to appoint a powerful health minister due to worsening constitution of the health department in the process.The session of the House was adjourned till 3pm on Monday.
