Summary Foreign Office has said efforts were on to mend Pak-Us ties.

Foreign Office spokesman Muazzam Khan said Thursday that efforts were on to mend the edgy relations between Pakistan and the United States.Talking to media persons during news briefing, Muazzam said the decision to restore the NATO supply route would be made by the political leadership.The spokesman rejected the impression that Pakistan was only trying to raise the tariff on the supply route, adding there were other important issues involved.“Pakistan will not allow its territory to be used as terrorists’ safe haven,” he said.He informed that talks on Sri Creek would be held on 18-19 June in New Delhi between Pakistan and India.Foreign Secretary level talks would be held in July.The Foreign Ministers of Pakistan and India are also scheduled to meet in July in Islamabad and review the composite dialogue process.About Siachen situations he said that both countries understood the importance of this difficult issue and wanted to resolve it.
