Summary Federal Commerce Minister Amin Fahim on Tuesday submitted his written reply to the SC in NICL case.
Amin Fahim in his written reply took the stance that the appointment of NICL chairman Ayaz Khan Niazi was made by the executive authority and he only moved the summary to the executive authority according to rules and regulations.He said that his wife Rizwana owned a house in DHA Karachi that was mortgaged in a private bank to pay the loan.Fahim said his wife sold the house in Rs 80 million and arrears of the loan were paid to the heirs of late Saleem.Amin Fahim pleaded the court to remove his and his family name from the case as investigation officer of the FIA had verified the facts of the matter.The federal minister also pleaded the apex court to delete the paragraph from the case that he appointed Ayaz Khan Niazi as chairman National Insurance Company Limited (NICL).
