Summary SHC has declared decision of Parliamentary Committee over appointment of 2 judges as null and void.
It ordered regularization of additional judges in view of recommendations of Judicial Commission.A 2-member bench comprises of Justice Maqbool Baqir and Justice Aqeel Ahmad Abbasi passed the verdict that was reserved by the full bench on Monday.The bench rejected the objections raised by the Parliamentary Committee and ordered that Justice Ghulam Sarwar Korai and Justice Irfan Saadat Khan be appointed as permanent judges in the light of Judicial Commission recommendations.The SHC Bar Association, Sukkur had filed the petition. The petition challenged Parliamentary Committees decision of not approving two SHC Additional Judges, which in unconstitutional.
