Summary Supreme Court has issued notice to Ch Shujaat Hussain regarding NICL cases advertising campaign.
Chief Justice iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that Amin Fahim is respectable for us but the decision would be taken on merit.A three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, conducted hearing of the National Insurance Corporation Ltd case. Commerce Secretary Zafar Mahmood said that the issue of Ijaz Niaz’s appointment has been referred to the Secretary Establishment.The Chief Justice sought an explanation that what is progress about Amin Fahim’s issue. Director FIA Muazzam Jah said that proofs have been collected but no result could be deducted till now.Former FIA Director Zafer A Qureshi said that about Rs 2 billion regarding the NICL case has been recovered while about Rs 340 million yet to be recovered from Moonis Elahi and Rs 100 million from Waraich family.Next hearing of case would be made on June 22.
