Summary Eight people died while others hurt when a passenger van left for Phatka plunged into Neelum River.
The accident took place due to negligence of the driver who could not have a control on vehicle and unluckily van fell into the river.According to sources, about 14 were on board. Due to being in far flung area, rescue teams could not reach the site of occurrence in time and local people endeavoured to pull the corpses and injured from river out.About eight bodies have been recovered while struggle for remaining victims is underway.Darkness is also causing stumbling block during rescue activities.
