Summary Eight people were killed and several others were wounded in explosion near Sariab road.
At least eight people including three children were killed and more than 15 got injured in a blast near Sariab Road in Quetta on Thursday.According to details, the explosion took place during a Dastar Bandi event at Jamia Islamia Miftahul Uloom near Sariab Link Road. Several gunshots were also heard after the blast.The injured have been shifted to Quettas civil hospital and some of them are reportedly in critical condition.Security officials have cordoned off the area while rescue efforts are underway.The cause of the explosion has not yet been determined.
