Recommendations sent for appointment of new judges

The Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has sent the recommendations to the governor Punjab for the appointment of news judges in the Lahore High Court. According to the spokesman of the Punjab government, recommendations were sent in light of Article 105 of the Constitution, rules of business of the government of Punjab and decision taken by the Supreme Court about the appointment of judges in 1996. The spokesman revealed that almost 80 percent seats were vacant in the Lahore High Court. Appointment of judges is vital to provide justice to people.
