Summary Six people died while five critically injured in an explosion at a fireworks warehouse on Sunday.
According to police, the fireworks material exploded outside a warehouse in Thatta Khokhra area of Hafizabad killing at least six people.Four people died on the spot while two succumbed to injuries in hospital. The victims also included two real brothers Zafar Iqbal and Muhammad Arshad.The rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the wounded to hospital.It is worth mentioning here that several casualties occurred in past due to illegal fireworks factories and warehouses in Hafizabad and its adjacent areas but no crackdown has been launched so far against the people involved in this business.
